Is Wikipedia wrong about the half life of Gold?

Asked by RedDeerGuy1 (24463points) April 19th, 2021

My virtual assistant states that some isotopes of Gold have a half life of ~196 days.

Some Gold has been in the earth for billions of years.

One entry in Wikipedia says that AU ~196 is functionally stable.

Can you explain further?
Do all atoms have a half life?
