I think 2202022 (today) is a much more interesting date than 2/22/22 (day after tomorrow). Do you agree?

A lot of those dates that people call out as special (for ex., 8/8/88) lose their sparkle when you put the whole year in. But 2/20/2022 has some pizzazz.

I can’t quite figure out if we’ve ever had another one like that, without sticking in artificial lead zeroes.

Of course, the magic still depends on our conventions for writing the date. And anyway it doesn’t mean anything. It’s just fun to notice.

So do something special today that’s worth a memorable date.
