Why am I so thirsty when I wake up?

When I wake up my throat is sore that I can’t cancel my alarm on my echo dot in the morning. I usually need water and it stops. it has been going on for about a week. I have a Rainmate IL in my room at night but I had it longer then my morning thirst. Do you know why?
