I’m not looking for Weird Al kind of songs, but songs that gently borrow from other musicians style in a satirical fashion. Such as:
A Simple Desultory Philippic – Simon & Garfunkel (parody of Bob Dylan)
No Shoe Strings on Louise – Elton John (parody of Rolling Stones)
Back in the U.S.S.R . – The Beatles (parody of Chuck Berry and Beach Boys)
By the way, the ending of the song from Simon and Garfunkel is absolutely hilarious, almost funnier than even what Weird Al would do.
