How do you handle a burn on your lip?

Nothing too serious, but I got home from work today and I was simply ravenous because it had just been an insane day. I heated up some leftovers in the microwave and then I went to eat and I must have misjudged how hot the food was. So at one point a piece of the hot food touched my lip for a moment and although you can hardly see it in the mirror, I can feel the sore spot on my lip. I’ve been putting some Neosporin/ bacetracin on it, and it’s been helping a little, but I would more than welcome any other suggestions people have.
