She passed away at age 56. No details given. Personally, I wasn’t offended in the slightest that she tore up a photo of the Pope. I believe she cared deeply about the rights of others and wasn’t afraid to say so, wasn’t afraid to ruffle some feathers. Her psychological history saddens me – she had Bipolar Disorder, Complex PTSD, and Borderline Personality Disorder.
