What do you know about crows?

Exactly one week ago I found an injured crow in my backyard. It could walk but could not fly. I reached out to a neighborhood Facebook group and within 30 minutes I had someone pick it up. It was 7pm, after the local wildlife center had closed. My neighbor kept the crow overnight until the center opened but unfortunately the crow didn’t make it overnight. Another neighbor who is a bird rescuer took it to bury it in his yard. He said that West Nile is prevalent in our area and killing many birds.

Today is exactly one week and I witnessed something I’m at a loss of words for. I walked to my backyard at almost the exact same time a week ago and found four crows standing right where their injured buddy was. They flew away to my neighbor’s fence and kept an eye on me.
