Would you prefer an 11-hour workday (with 1 hour for lunch), if it meant that you always had a 3-day weekend?

I worked for an employer that had such a set-up for his employees, where they could either work Monday – Thursday (11 hours each day) then have Friday – Sunday off, or work Tuesday – Friday, with Saturday – Monday off.

Does that kind of work schedule appeal to you? And if it does (and you aren’t working it, yet), how likely is it that your employer will/can offer such a schedule? Do you think the majority of Americans would like a schedule like that?
