Does everyone have a comment about everything these days?

It seems to me that there is this fairly new trend of everyone commenting on everything. Especially online.

I’ve seen this constant sharing of opinions increase with the spread of Web 2.0: blogs, blog comments, Facebook, Twitter, Fluther, etc. (Not to mention our hundreds of TV channels and commentary shows on all subjects.)

Do you see this as a trend? (It didn’t use to be like this, did it?)
Is it a good thing, bad thing?
If you participate in this opinion-giving online, do you find yourself more opinionated in real life?
If you are, do you like being that way?
