When I listen to a certain CD/Track a lot, the CD/track gets damaged. Why?

Can CD players (In Cars) Damage CD’s? Is it just me? has this happened to anyone else?
This has happened to CD’s that’ I’ve bought from Stores. (not just cheap CD’s that were burnt)
I now backup every CD that I buy…
Some CD’s I buy are not offered as a Digital Download anywhere (that’s why I actually BUY CD’s… for anyone wondering why I even buy CD’s) ...tnx
