What is the best cat food you feed your kitties?

I have an 18 year old and a one year old. My 18 year old seems to be getting sick often now. I have switched from Iams because they changed their formula and she didn’t like it anymore. She ate that for 16 years! Now I can’t find good food to keep her healthy. She throws up and get diarhea a lot. She has never been sick ever until now. Do you think it’s food only?
My vet had us try a prescription food, with the same bad problems. She is starting to lose weight and look bad. Please help!
The one year old also doesn’t seem to like the new foods. I am trying Nutro max now, but again bad things are happening. I hope you all can help me with my sweet cat. I can’t lose her yet.
