My 19-month-old lab has welps between his toes on his paws. Does anyone have an idea of what this could be?

I’m planning on taking him to the doctor first thing on Monday morning, but if it’s something serious, I want to take him to the animal hospital tonight.
The welps almost look like insect bites, but he has multiple bites on each of his paws. I don’t think they’re insect bites because of the placement and number of them.
Might it be a good allergy?
