Apache sees my SSL certificate, but thinks it's self-signed?

I’ve purchased an SSL certificate, & configured Apache2 to use it. I verified that it uses my certificate (entered a few more letters & Apache didn’t like it). I also verified that I can see all of my details & the CA details in the certificate. However, when I try to access the site, the browser complains that the certificate is self-signed, & present some wierd details from it.
Any idea what am I doing wrong?
