Is winking a part of your expressive repertoire?

My sister-in-law seems to fancy the wink, although not very good at it. She gives a two eyed jobby that’s more creepy than clever. Do you wink at others while talking? What does a wink signify to you? Is one able to bring winking into his/her expressive repertoire without being creepy? When would/do you wink?

Personally, I’ve decided to adopt the wink to see how it changes situations. The next time I’ve been given too much change, I’m going to say,“Thanks!” and walk away. If I’m ever pulled over again, I’m going to wink as I say,” I had mo idea I was going that fast officer!” When my boys start to drive me crazy with their musical ways, I’m going to wink and let ‘em know,“Oh, you can play later.” The wink just seems to add pleasure all around, no?
