What happened to metrosexuality?

As epitomized by the TV show Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, metrosexuality was all the rage several years ago. Now, not so much. Was it just a passing fad? Was it incorporated into daily life so that it is no longer unique? Was it replaced by hipsterism?

Edit: For those who think it is still going strong, do you think it still has the same cache, and do you have the same “rituals” and fashion sense today?
