Have you ever been intimidated?

This, of course, is a companion question to the other one.

What was the situation? Who or what were you intimidated by? How did the person or thing manage to intimidate you? Do you think this tactic works in either the short or long run?

I have often been intimidated by big men, beautiful women, and people who appear to be very angry. I get quiet or tongue-tied or scared and willing to give in to anything just to get the hell out of the situation. It’s not very enjoyable, obviously. I particularly hate it when it’s a boss who is doing it. It makes me feel like some kind of wimp. However, as a small person, I think that it’s better to run away and survive to try to do what I wanted to do in another way.
