What to do when sick?

My friend has really bad cold where he can barely move, is uber dizzy, and has killer headaches. He has lost his voice for the most part and his seeing spots. He refuses to listen to me and drinking lots of fluid like water, lying down, taking it easy, and not spending too much time starring at a screen. I don’t even know if I’m at all giving good advice. What would you suggest?
