What is your favorite birthday memory?

Personally?

My fifth birthday. It cannot ever be topped.

I was in Ecuador. I climbed a mountain in the Andes, rode a horse bareback on the beach at sunset and stood up on it, watched the sunrise and sunset, my mother bought me an obsidian necklace and a hand carved wood flute from street vendors that I still have, I had half a pineapple chopped up in the rind(?) with a scoop of strawberry ice cream topped with a maraschino cherry as my cake. I ended the day exhausted in the best way and warm from my developing sunburn. I never felt more alive, and more connected any other time in my life.

And my cousin broke her nose. :)
