How to keep in touch with my girlfriend? I'm 2000 miles far from her for next 6 months.

We both use twitter very ofen, but its still not enought, even msn doesnt help. Because sometimes we cant even see the other is online, and keeping msn always on, is not good solution.

Is there any application how she could see me online always my mac is on? I mean like “growl” or the aim button on facebook saying “user is online” ? Maybe we should buy iphone :D

Would be great any dashboard app :D i think i will stay with adium coz nobody gets this question.
