Can anesthic drugs(sleepy drugs for surgery) affect brain usage permanently?

I’m asking because I’ve had several surgeries through the years, and I don’t seem to be thinking as fast as other adults. Maturity is over, (or so I think() and I’ll ‘lose’ hours everyday, not knowing where they went. I have a watch on I check constantly too – What the bloomin’ heck is happening to me?! I work slow when I do work, people have noticed I’m sluggish, get distracted easily, etc. I don’t believe in the cover- term ADD, ADHD, and all that bull. I’ve had Natural supplements, and nothing. Just nothing.
