Who has a delicious, serve it hot, British recipe?

Hosting a British themed party potluck. Since we’re hosting, I want to serve something hot, and involve some sort of meat. I’ve been crawling the web, but was just curious to see if anyone had any suggestions that they’ve tried or recommend.

It could be an appetizer, casserole, pasta, pretty much anything. I just don’t want to roast a rack of lamb or make a shepherd’s pie.

Looking for something that is relatively quicker, and preferably doesn’t need a prune demi-glaze.
