What inexpensive gifts to take?

I’m off beginning of February to visit my daughter in laws muslim family and village in West Java, Indonesia.
My religion is nature, you know, the sun comes up and the sun goes down… that sort of thing…
We can take school materials to give out to children and cosmetics, face cream and stuff for the ladies… they also love big red juicy apples and dried fruit.
