Afraid of change?

i’m not scared to admit that i’m afraid of change.. but seriously i want to change… my looks and everything, but i’m scared of what people will say and i don’t really like getting attention…at all… especially from those who people who usually greets you when there’s something new… kinda complicated really.. what should i do?
