Is there anything that will take stage makeup out of clothes?

I got a favorite dress stained with stage makeup (although no stage blood, thankfully). Is there anything that will take it out? I’ve run it through the wash a few times and used a spot treatment. I really like this dress… Anything that will help? Should I get it dry cleaned or take it somewhere? It is 100% polyester, and the washing instructions say to wash with similar colors, not to use bleach, and not to tumble dry. When I washed it to begin with, I followed these instructions.
