If i had surgery on my ankle and had pins put in it years ago how likely is it that the marines will except me?

i have heard that if you have had pretty much any type of surgery that they wont except you? my recuruiter sent in some papers on my ankle a few days ago but i am to anxious to find out? i have had no problems with my ankle in the past after the surgery and even played many more years of sports after!
