I think fluther.com deserves to have a Wikipedia entry, like wis.dm - Why hasn't anyone created an entry yet?

Actually, my intention was doing a background check when Fluther was first mentioned on wis.dm – To get a rough picture I think Wikipedia is a good place to start. I searched for “fluther” and got “Did you mean: further?”

Here’s the wis.dm entry (amazing how up to date the entries always are): link

Wis.dm (read “wisdom”) is a unique social networking website based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Wis.dm revolves around user-submitted questions; members ask, answer, and discuss questions in a variety of specialized forums, called “scenes.” As of November, 2008, Wis.dm has over 70,000 registered users. On March 22, 2009, it was announced that wis.dm will be shut down permanently some time in the following weeks.

There’s even a reference like this:

Is wis.dm Your Next Web Obsession? from TIME Magazine Online

Now wis.dm turned out to be unsuccessful lacking performance and a viable business model which Fluther seems to have. Isn’t it time to become part of an online encyclopedia?
