If you were to compile a collection of music for a baby, what would you include?

My best friend since childhood is having her first baby in about six weeks and her shower is next weekend. While I’d love to be able to get her one of the big, expensive, useful things from her registry, that’s completely unrealistic, as I don’t have the resources; I’m an unemployed agoraphobe who’s living at home with no money saved and not collecting government assistance.

What I do have is an internet connection, very few qualms about pirating music, and an idea. I’d like to make a CD of lullaby-like music that ought to soothe a baby without annoying the parents if it needs to be played repeatedly. So I’m looking for suggestions.
