What happened to my wireless access point?

I’ve bee using my wireless network for about 6 years and it has been working fine the whole time. Recently, however, the entire conection has disappeared. The SSID is not recoginzed by any of my devices (2 laptops and psp) and I have tried resetting the base station (manually and through the managment tool) but to no avail. What should I do?
