Do you think it is a good idea to allow renewable marriage nuptials?

There is a story in the news about some countries (Germany and Australia) that are trying to allow renewable marriage nuptials. Basically after 7 years you would be asked if you’d like to renew your marriage, kind of like a business contract. Divorce rates are at about 50% right now, do you think this will help the situation or do you think it will take away from the whole idea of marriage?
