Are there some TV shows you really hate though they are so popular?

I observe my kids every week watch various shows that I really can’t fathom what is so appealing to them. As an example, I tried to watch “Deal or no Deal “and really wondered what (besides the girls carrying the boxes) made anybody sit through it.
