What do you think of San Diego, California?

Have you ever been there? What did you think of it?

This may sound like just an attempt to share my San Diego story, but I really do want to know what you think of this city.

I’ve been to it twice. This is the second time; the first was when I was 13 or so, so I didn’t really have much of an appreciation for it then, but I remember liking it. Now, after going to it with my best friend (a guy) during Pride Week and good weather, I really like it. (I’m still here btw). It seems better than L.A. to me. Less pollution, less traffic, and it’s just prettier. The skyscrapers by the ocean, the downtown area is beautiful, I’m never bored here, and there is a big gay community. My friend and I went to the San Diego pride parade yesterday (it was a pretty tame parade; the worst I saw was not that bad at all) and then saw Bruno afterwards (great combination). Even UrbanDictionary agrees with me, and it always has really negative city definitions.

The only cons I can think of are that it’s really humid here and the millions of one-way streets and 2-way stops get a little annoying. But other than that, San Diego is amazing! I am in love with this place. Not to mention it’s 60–80 degrees all year and it’s always sunny!

Also, there is something else that makes this place special, but I’m not so sure I want to share that right now. I’ll keep you wonderin’.
