Can Tequila ever come back into my life again?

So, basically.. I love Tequila and around Christmas time I drank way too much of it, way too fast and ended up in and out of consciousness, while throwing up, for 3 – 4 hours. Needless to say, worst hangover ever. Then in January I tried to do a shot of Tequila, the smell made me want to puke and as soon as I took the shot, I did exactly that. Even mixing Tequila in orange juice made my stomach upset. I haven’t tried drinking it since January and was wondering if I will be able to enjoy Tequila ever again?
