Are USA soccer players/announcers/espn people cry babies?

I know very little about soccer, but watched the USA vs Mexico match yesterday and all the announcers did was cry about calls not being made for the US and that it happens all the time. ESPN has also said the same things for most of the shows today. I do not know the rules of soccer so don’t know if they were good calls or not. USA people cry babies or are the refs really not calling a fair game?
