Can you recommend any twisted and dark horror movies?

I am looking for twisted, gothic, dark, scary, psychological horror movies that aren’t based on the boring jump-and-shock methods of many horror movies but more on the method of presenting you with something creepy and psychologically unnerving.

Some examples of movies which I mean are:
Silent Hill (anything related to the video games would be awesome)
Jacob’s Ladder
The Cell
The Orphanage
Saw (the settings)
