Best large size budget monitor for FCP editing? Or should I go with a used Apple monitor or IPS panel? Any monitor people out there?

Editing in FCP and I want a large sized monitor (probably a 27in). Any recommendations? I was considering buying a used apple monitor- I found the old 23in ADC HD monitor for about 200–250 dollars- which I’m assuming is an IPS panel- however I have heard that LCDs degrade after a few years, so I’m weighing the cost/benefit- any thoughts on that?

For about 500, I found a S-PVA panel-

any thoughts on that and S-PVA, MVA, etc versus IPS- wide viewing angle is important as 2 people are sitting together on the edit frequently. Is an S-IPS or H-IPS hands down better than a PVA type?

don’t want a glossy screen- would think about just springing for a new mac led screen if not for this- i’m not sure why they did this-

This is professional work but color correction is a later step so it is currently not super color critical (may do some sometime however). I can spend the time to calibrate the monitor -
heard good things about the ultra sharp dells (24 in good, 27 in ok) – but mixed reviews on the colors- are they accurate? does anyone know anything about wide gamut color? I don’t want awesome impressive enhanced color- I would like subtle accurate color or be able to get there.

Resolution should be at least 1900×1200 for this size I think.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
