Were these carrots bad?

My mother JUST Got these carrots the other day, but one of them had Brown on it, just a tad. I ate some carrots, and automatically my stomach felt crampy, I do have anxiety; or fear problems, and this might be why the stomach was hurting, do you think that the carrots went bad?
