What would be better for me? A netbook or a notebook...

I’m just trying to decide what would be better for me. Im still going to College so I need a laptop of some kind. As I dont have that much room in my backpack I’m leaning more so towards the netbook. But I do like to multi-task so I’d prefer the extra RAM and Processing power. But I like the smallness that comes with a netbook.

The things I’ll be doing with it are mostly surfing the web and using google Docs for most of my writing needs. If I get a netbook I’d use something along the lines of xUbuntu and use Openoffice for when I’m not near internet.

If I get a netbook however I’d be doing pretty much the same thing except I’d uses XP and I’d have accsess to other programs like Itunes for syncing with my Ipod. And I may just put a few games on it.

I’m leaning more towards the notebook because I dont spend my entire life inside a classroom.
