Can you help me with the new ps3 XMB ?

Got the firmware 3.0 update today turns out not everything is there, i do not have the bbci player XMB launch and some other little things to do with emails and such . I understand the BBCi player is for uk only , i am part of that yet i didn’t get it while my brother and a few others did (all live in the same area ) . Is it just mine or has it happened to others also , how can i fix the damn thing .
