Have you ever had a dream which was a continuation of another dream you had a long time ago?

In the first dream I was the butler of a guy whose daughter had gone missing in the woods.
But the last time U had this dream was years ago.
In the latest dream I had this night, I was again searching for this very daughter, but this time U was not the butler, but an android working for the same guy, this time working together with the butler that U was in the first dream. The daughter was also older than the last time.
There were also other similarities, like building sentry towers to fend off incoming wolves.
