Why don't people differentiate my Alaskan Malamute from Husky breed?

Everytime I come across people while walking my Alaskan Malamute I hear “look a Husky”, this was funny to me at first but after a while I get really annoyed. Mals have thick coat/undercoat, are more built, come only in gray/white or black/white, and never have light color eyes like Huskies sometime may have blue eyes or one blue one dark, Mals only have dark.
