What are some of the better/best websites to job search?

Long story short; I’m fresh out of college (graduated in June), I had gotten a job with one of the largest food manufacturers in the world doing basic lab work for a research facility of theirs (I’m a chemist). Well it was through a contractor, and for whatever reason they decided they didn’t want me working there anymore, and ended my contract 2 weeks ago.

I’m back at the grind of looking for a job, but remembering what a pain it was last time (I’d been searching since February for one, and I didn’t have that job til early July), I’m really trying to avoid the same mess this time.

I know monster, and I know to not really apply through monster, but find jobs and then go to those companies sites. I know career builder.

Any other suggestions?
