Why are gay men kicked out of the military while women are admitted into it?

It’s a goddamn contradiction, for chrissakes. Those phonies calling the shots in the Defense Department clearly haven’t thought their argument all the way through. Don’t straight women cause more of a disruption to the men behind the lines than gay men?
Is this policy anything more than ignorance? Why haven’t we risen above this blatant prejudice in the 21st century?
