Aren't you glad there's no signatures on Fluther?

Traditional newsgroups and message boards typically have signatures for their users at the end of each message, so long as the user made one. And some of them, make signatures that are far longer than any post they make. Some signatures take up almost a full webpage. They more-than-triple the size of such websites, and the time it takes to browse messages. And except in role-playing games, signatures tend to be low on information (with some exceptions) and high on ego.

Aren’t you glad there’s no damn signatures on Fluther?
