I found a crack in my basement wall behind the insulation that the builder originally installed. Is it ok to finish the basement without tearing down all of the insulation to inspect?

i found the leak after noticing some moisture on the floor wear it meets the wall. I haven’t actually seen water coming in through the crack, but it seems like too much of a coincidence that there was some moisture there
