What is this strange lump appeared behind my ear overnight?

I’m pretty sure this is a lymph node infection, but I woke up this morning and literally had a lump behind my ear, on my head, about the size of a nickel. It was sore to touch, and I thought the night before I banged my head into something but didn’t remember, but pretty sure I’d have remembered something like that. I tried “draining” after my shower, and some clear liquid came out and it hurts like hell so I stopped. The night before I had been at my house pulling up “cut-back” adhesive and working with an adhesive stripper called Klean Strip- Adhesive Remover. The active ingredient is methylene chloride. The room was well ventilated but I wonder if this had an effect. My left index finger feels a bit tingly, as well. Do lymph nodes get inflamed literally overnight? Or should I be more concerned?
