Why am I getting lipomas all throughout my body? And how can i treat them?

Over the past two years I have noticed more than a dozen small lipomas of various sizes (from the size of a bb to the size of a marble) develop throughout my arms, trunk, and legs. Why am I getting these, and what can I do about them besides surgery?

I take psychiatric meds including lithium, and take omega3 fish oil…could that have caused them?
