Can you accept a health care reform legislation that bans abortion care?

Accordinig to the Stupak amendement passed by the U.S Congress, the health care reform bill in its current form will ban any federal money covering insurance for abortion. Specifically, this means that both public and private plan purchased with federal subsidy cannot cover abortion services. What do you think ? Should this bill go forwards in order to appease the opponents for abortion?
