Does anyone know anything about geographic tongue?

Yeah, it’s a gross yet harmless condition of the tongue where your taste buds appear to have crop circles on them. I read a bit about it on wikipedia and some medical sites, but they don’t seem to have any answers. They say it could be hormone related, bad diet related, and that it’s not harmful or contagious.

Have you heard anything more about it that I’m not finding on the sites? Yeah, I have it, but luckily it’s not as gross as the images you’ll find on google. And yeah, I secondarily posted this question as a cover for a mistake question I posted. :/
