What temperature do you like to eat your food at?

I notice that I like my food as hot as it can get without seriously burning my mouth. Warm food just annoys me and I find food tastes better when it is hot. I also quite like spicy food, so maybe this is linked. This is of course ignoring foods like cookies and icecream :D.

Why I am asking this is because I often eat my food really fast, which is a combination of my hunger (as I have meals late), and possibly this as I don’t want to let my food get cold. However everyone else I eat with doesn’t seem to do this, and my friend even has to wait for the food to get colder because its “too hot” for her and she likes it warm.

What are your food preferences. Do you like hot food and spicy food? Or do you like your food warmish and not too keen on spice. Or are these two things not “linked” for you?
