Getting PRK done in both eyes next week... what should I expect?

So yeah, I wasn’t a candidate for lasik so I’m getting the PRK done next week… the doc gave me a prescription for loratab and told me not to expect to go back to work for a week… is it really that bad? I don’t personally know anyone who has had the procedure, so I thought I’d throw it out here and see if anyone has any advice or experience tales…
